"G" Shaped Deck

The “G” was designed, tested, and illustrated by Gerardo Mendoza.

As one of Sapient’s long-standing team riders, Gerardo instinctively blends skateboarding and artistry, personifying their complimentary principles and paying homage to their distinct, interconnected balance.

This shape was created to bridge the gap between the comfort of a wide shaped deck and the performance of the standard popsicle. On board, Gerardo is known for his all-terrain style, smoothly tackling any obstacle that unfolds in front of him. This board was specifically designed to function in all settings and is the perfect option for anyone looking to enter the shaped-deck realm without sacrificing functionality.

This deck has a 14.5” wheelbase and is 9.875” over the front truck and tapers down to 9.25” over the back truck. It boasts a full popsicle nose and slightly squared off tail. The mid-range wheelbase paired with the wide width keeps this deck stable on transition but agile in the streets. Strong concave through the tails provides a perfectly molded pocket for your foot, keeping you locked in and adding extra snap in either direction.
